|  Christmas @ my Mom's...the family
Hello everyone, Wow so Christmas is over…I can’t believe it. I almost feel I didn’t take enough pictures but thanks to everyone else we should have enough. So if you took pictures during our visit please send us a copy so that we can add it to our library. So there is a lot to tell everyone since our phone is down. FYI its been down since we got home from the states. So Ronnie is now an E-6. He got a promotion. Praise the Lord. So he will be pinned in February which I hope to get pictures of. Gabriel has rolled over, back and forth. So now its time to keep him in safe areas and in the crib. Lastly, just yesterday Gabriel said dada while we were all together as a family. I think Dad got a little choked up. Children are awesome. So Ron is getting ready to leave soon and so I have taken a break from school to be with him and Melissa J will be visiting us in Feb. We can’t wait. We will be visiting Paris…and we will be sure to send pictures.  Gabriel's 1st Christmas

| So my mom just left. It was such a joy to have her but I must admit I had a hard time expressing that. I am afraid that being a mom, away from Ron, and living on the fourth floor is just too much sometimes. Moms, I know you feel me! So Ron comes home in a week. I am thankful that his time at school is finally over. We will be celebrating our first year anniversary...time has really flown. We may get to go to Venice for 2 days I will let you all know what happenes. So you all really want to know how Gabriel is doing? Well he is cooing, smiling, puots with his lower lip...oh and has alsi discovered his hands and sucks on them profusely. My mom has more pictures than what is available for now and when she emails them to me I will post them as well. Just be patient with me.

How cute is he...yeah we are taking as many photos possible for all you out there. I just realized how much more chunky I look. Thats really hard to take in but I am already at work. I just wish I had my army buddies Bots and Evan oh and lest I forget Sarah who really helped me stay in shape. I have been going to the gym with Ron but I need a buddy to run with. Thats the only way I can lose the pounds....I got 20 to go. Pray for me! Really. So everything is great in the carrion home. Gabriel has been doing well although some days he has a hard time sleeping. He is smiling a bit more and we finally got our stroller and he seems to like the outdoors. HE is getting bigger and when we go to the doc next week I will be sure to give you his new weight. Ron is preparing to leave on Tuesday for school and Christie and Evan will arrive on Tuesday as well. Guess I will be at the airport for a while. Hope Gabriel is good for mommy. I have a hard time letting him cry. I feel like my heart is being ripped out. I get mixed info letting him cry at such a young age so any advice would be well excepted. |  This is Gabriel after his first bath at the hospital. You dont get to see his goods but you do get to see his body. check out those loooong feet and that cute tan! He's lightened up since and as you can see below he smiles some times!!!  how cute is he???  our first not so cute family foto. We took some professional ones and plan to send them out to family and friends soon. We will also post them on the site! We are doing great and its hard to belive that he's three weeks old. We really are starting to get the hang of it. We know how much he eats and how to get him to stay awake. Right now Gabriel is suffereing from acne. Poor guy looks pretty beat up by all the lil pimples. right now he is in my lap as I type sucking on his binky. Dad is back to work and really our first routine day went well. I would like to take a shower but I am at the mercy of my baby! Gabriel also had a little issue with his belly button. When the umbilical cord fell off there was a little scar tissue that we cant seem to get to dry up and fall off. HE may be getting in burnt off which may mean a black belly button for a couple of years. Tough decision. Any reccomendations parents? I havent started working out but think I should get to walking. We do lil stuff here and there but I need to get moving. ITs too bad the weather he is not always so nice. This summer has felt more like fall or spring. Well lookinf forward to having visitors, Christie Van Hulle and her fiance Evan are coming in the beginning of Sept and then my mom will be coming at the end of sept. Ron is preparing for school in NC...he leaves at the beginning of Sept for 2 months. Keep me in your prayers that I can handle baby without daddy. God has already provided some help with all the visitors! Well that it for this entry. We love you all and look forward to hearing from you
